Covid-19 known as coronavirus it has not only disrupted the normal working of life but also it has disturbed the educational activities of students. Students in Pakistan have faced a lot of problems during the pandemic they were not able to clearly focus on their studies as everything was shifted to virtual mode.

According to UNESCO reports 1.6 billion children across 191 countries have been affected because of the pandemic and temporary closure of educational institutes.

For the continuation of education Government of Pakistan have introduced programs like PTV telecast furthermore students were first time introduced to online classes using different software’s such as zoom, MS teams, Google meet and cloud meetings.

Moreover, there were many advantages and disadvantages of online classes as well as its disadvantages were that due to lack of knowledge and information about the software students were not being able to use it. Students usually do not take the class and ignore it or they were busy in using other applications, students also have faced internet connectivity issues while taking the class due to which they cannot hear what the teacher is saying, students were not serious during online classes also however they do not ensure their participation as a result they were destroying their own future also. Lastly students also feel bored while sitting only in front of the screen, it may have weakened their eyes also.

Its advantages were that they do not have to go to their educational institute they can take class from anywhere and mark their attendance, secondly students were provided with recordings which they can watch at any time sometimes, students were also able to engage themselves during any activity or task.

Conclusively, students were distanced from educational activities after the pandemic when everything started working, they were not being able to fully concentrate and grasp the concept which is why we say that Covid-19 has affected educational sector a lot. To fully focus back to education educational institutes must not fully burdened students rather they should engage them by hosting some events, activities so that students can revert to normal educational life pre pandemic
